LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Texas students interested in college will have limited opportunities to submit their applications for free.
Senate Bill 2231 , passed during the 89th Texas Legislative Session, requires all public colleges and universities in Texas to waive their admission application fees. This year, Free College Application Week will take place from Monday, October 13, to Sunday, October 19.
While Laredo College and Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) do not charge application fees, officials are still working to inform students about this opportunity.
