Hartwick College expands scholarship to three more counties

Hartwick College announced Monday, Oct. 6 the expansion of its HartLand Promise Scholarship to include students from Albany, Broome and Schenectady counties "to underscore its commitment to making a private liberal arts education accessible to students from upstate New York," according to a news release.

The HartLand Promise Scholarship, launched in 2022, guarantees Hartwick's top scholarship amount, $10,000 annually, for eligible students from across the region. With this expansion, students from Albany, Broome and Schenectady counties join those already eligible in Chenango, Delaware, Herkimer, Madison, Montgomery, Oneida, Onondaga, Otsego and Schoharie counties.
