GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) — Scott Johnson is no stranger to the classroom, but lately he’s been making headlines outside of it.

The veteran educator has spent more than two decades inspiring students while learning just as much about himself along the way. Originally from Burkesville, he began his career in Metcalfe County before relocating to Barren County.

Today, Johnson leads Red Cross Elementary’s STEAM Lab, an interactive space designed to ignite curiosity and promote hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics.
