A wicked father who murdered six of his own children in a house fire has allegedly been left bloodied and battered following a vicious assault behind bars . More than six months have passed since news of the attack on Mick Philpott first surfaced. ‌

Philpott received a life sentence in April 2013 after jurors at Nottingham Crown Court found him guilty on six manslaughter charges for orchestrating the deadly fire at his council property in Derby during May 2012. ‌
