Led by entertainment journalist Rob Shuter , MassLive and other outlets reported that Taylor Swift walked away from a deal to play the Super Bowl halftime show over contract issues.

But Swift denied that in an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Monday.

In a game in which Fallon listed five internet rumors, only one of which was true, Swift addressed the story that she had walked away from the chance to play the halftime show at the upcoming Super Bowl LX.

Swift started out saying that her team is close with Jay-Z’s team, which puts on the halftime show. She said the teams had informally talked about whether she would be interested in performing, but that no formal deal existed.
