Chicago was named the Best Big City in the United States by the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, marking the city's ninth year in a row of receiving the coveted award, the travel magazine announced Tuesday.

More than 750,000 votes were cast for the awards, which recognized Chicago's reputation for welcoming visitors of all backgrounds. Kristen Reynolds, president and CEO of Choose Chicago, said receiving the award for another year is an "extraordinary honor" that "feels more meaningful than ever."
