WASHINGTON — Two DC area airports are earning recognition – but at least one might not be for the best reasons.
AirHelp , a self-described passenger rights company, compiled a “best” and “worst” list ranking airports in the area based on flight disruptions.
Topping the list in terms of fewest disruptions was John F. Kennedy International Airport, serving the New York City area with a 20.1 percent rate of disruption.
Meanwhile, locally, Dulles International Airport in Virginia flies into the No. 4 spot with just 32.4 percent of flights disrupted.
At the bottom of the heap, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport ranked dead last for flight disruptions with 42.8 percent.
Reagan National Airport in D.C. fared little better, however, with 45.6 percent of flights disrupted.
