Wood Buffalo RCMP and police dog services responded to reports of a robbery at a FasGas at the corner of Franklin Avenue and Morrison Street on Oct. 7 at 5:20 a.m. Witnesses told police a man wearing a balaclava entered the store with a “large edged weapon” and demanded money. Article content

The employee complied and the man ran away from the store. He was last seen running eastbound on Morrison Street. No physical injuries were reported during the robbery. The suspect could not be located by police.
