We're just about two weeks into the fall season, and while some of the trees around KELOLAND are starting to show their colors…it's been a bit delayed overall. There's a reason behind that, and it has to do with what we haven't seen until recently: Cooler temperatures.
Ideally, we want to have a warm and wet spring season that flows into a seasonable summer. Overall, we did get that. The problem is that the on/off switch for summer was broken for a while. In order to get those vibrant colors to come along, we need warm sunny days and cool to chilly nights. We've had the former in place with no issue, but cooler nights have been absen
