NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A Louisiana state program that helps hundreds of college and trade school students pay tuition has shut down unexpectedly, leaving thousands temporarily unable to access their accounts.

State lawmakers are set to meet Tuesday in New Orleans to determine what caused the outage and how to get the program running again.
