KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Western Michigan University students now have a place to go to on campus to get free donated business clothing to make that good first impression.

Western Outfitters opened Tuesday in North Kohrman Hall. Family and Consumers Sciences Chair Dr. Adam Manley said the program started last year.

Thanks to the help from other university staff, the free campus closet was moved from a simple classroom into gallery space designed to feel like a clothing boutique.

"There are actually many people that made it all happen. Right now we have three student workers who have helped put the finishing touches on this space. But before that, maintenance and facilities donated their time hanging the TV, painting the walls," said Manley.
