UPDATE : October 7 at 5:35 p.m.

Frank's restaurant reopened quickly after the fire scare, thanks to prompt action and regular maintenance.

Owner Robin Bernhart explained the importance of their cleaning routine. She said the range hood is cleaned every night and deep cleaned every three months, which helped prevent damage.

The quick response from firefighters, who arrived within three minutes, played a crucial role in saving the Spokane staple.
