Vermont State Police are investigating the death of a man who is believed to have crashed an electric scooter on a trail in Enosburg.

The man and the scooter were found down an embankment off the Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail near White Road, under 10 miles south of the Canadian border. State police were notified around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Authorities are working to determine the man's identity. An autopsy is scheduled to be conducted at the Vermont Chief Medical Examiner's Office in Burlington.

Police noted that the incident is not believed to be suspicious.
