ENOSBURG, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Authorities said Tuesday that one man is dead after his scooter was found down an embankment on the north side of the Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail.

Vermont State Troopers responded to the scene near the intersection of the trail with White Road in Enosburg on Tuesday morning, at about 7:30 a.m.

An autopsy will be performed, though authorities are saying the incident is not suspicious.

The victim's identity is reportedly unknown. Anyone with possible information about the incident is asked to call Vermont State Police, St. Albans Barracks at (802) 524-5993.
