This morning, the community gathered at Hope House in Liberty Hill to celebrate the opening of the Rathgeber Community, which will give 16 more children with profound disabilities a forever place to live and thrive.

Hope House officials also shared their vision for the future through a new project called Renewed Hope, which aims to provide long-term housing and vocational opportunities for adults and children with profound intellectual disabilities, giving families peace of mind that their loved ones will always have a place to belong.

The initiative outlines a multi-acre development that will feature 10 forever homes designed to replace traditional group facilities with smaller, family-style residences. The design will not only reduce behavioral incidents but also improve staff retentio
