TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - A man is facing charges in connection with a double fatal shooting in Tucson two years ago.

On Tuesday, Oct. 7, the Tucson Police Department said 35-year-old Ryan Jacob Blouin will be extradited back to Pima County to face charges for the double fatal shooting.

The TPD said Blouin killed 37-year-old Courtney-Ann Kanani Pregil and 32-year-old Tylor James Wheeler at an apartment complex in the 1200 block of West Ajo Way on Oct. 11, 2023.

The TPD said Blouin was a person of interest from the start and knew Wheeler. In January 2024, he was arrested on unrelated federal charges and incarcerated in California. In September 2025, Blouin admitted to being involved in the case.

While he is currently in federal custody, the TPD said he will be extradited to Pima County
