Wallace Community College in Dothan Campus, is partnering with Houston County Career Academy to create new opportunities for High Schoolers.

They recently launched three new high-demand programs for dual enrollment students...

The career academy will now have Automotive Technology, Business Technologies, and Child Development.

"I'm so excited about the opportunities that the kids will have with this partnership with Wallace college…" Said Heather Turvin, Assistant Principal and Counselor for Houston County Career Academy.

Students participating in the new programs now have the opportunity to earn short certificates in Automotive Technology, Pre-K Endorsement in Child Development, and Short-Term Certificate in Entrepreneurship.
