HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - After enjoying the bye, it’s game week once again for the Rainbow Warriors.
Timmy Chang’s team returned to practice this morning in advance of Saturday’s meeting with Utah State.
Both teams are coming off bye weeks, the University of Hawaii has two more scheduled this season.
University of Hawaii is seeking back-to-back conference wins, and it’s off to its best 6-game start since 2019. That year, the Warriors finished with a 10-win season and made their only appearance in the Mountain West championship game.
But the week off gives them time to focus on issues to clean up, among them are penalties.
Hawaii is one of the most penalized teams in the country, with 25 in just the past three weeks.
