The AFL has fined Geelong tens of thousands of dollars after an audit into six years' worth of player payments.
The league said the audit relating to the total player payment (TPP) limit and the soft cap limit from 2019 through 2024 found the club did not breach the TPP or player movement rules.
But it did find "a series of non-disclosures and/or late disclosures of arrangements with club associates and third parties, that were required to be reported to the AFL".
The Cats have been fined $77,500, with $40,000 of it suspended for two years, pending that no future disclosure breaches are found. Loading
