The Rockets won the Battle of I-75 with 2,251 fans in attendance to continue their best start in program history with set scores of 25-23, 19-25, 25-18, 25-16.

Toledo (14-3, 5-0 Mid-American Conference) started hot out of the gate and found itself ahead 11-7 in the first set after a successful challenge.
