Coming off a tough loss on the road to Notre Dame, the Boise State Broncos are now preparing for a homecoming game against the New Mexico Lobos.
The Broncos lost to the Fighting Irish 28-7 on Saturday. The Broncos, a typical run-heavy team, were limited in the run game to a season-low 100 rushing yards and were forced to go through the air, which didn't go the best for the Broncos, ending the game with four interceptions.
The Broncos were also plagued by 13 penalties throughout the game having lost 112 yards from penalties alone. Boise State also allowed four sacks on Maddux Madsen for a loss of 33 yards. Yet another struggle for the Bronco offense came on 3rd down conversions, only converting 6 of their 15 attempts for first downs.
