DUCHESNE COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — A Herriman man was formally charged this week after reportedly travelling several hours to kill a relative's llama.
Jordan Blake Gomez, 33, was formally charged on October 7, 2025 with wanton destruction of livestock with a value between $751 and $5000, a third-degree felony,
According to court documents, on October 3, 2025, an officer with the Duchesne County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the Mini Ranches area. The officer called the reporting party, who reported that her relative had shown up unannounced, killed her llama, and then left.
The caller identified her relative as Jordan Blake Gomez, who lives in Herriman, Utah. Gomez allegedly slaughtered one of her llamas before putting the llama in the back of a white Honda Ridgeline pickup and leaving
