EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- The first two days of the Fall Festival may have been filled with rain and gloomy weather but that did not stop the hungry customers all around me from showing up for their favorite booths this year.

When faced with the idea of a rainy start to Fall Festival some were nervous about what the atmosphere would feel like on Franklin Street. But the women at booth 4 beg to differ.

“We have a reputation for that,” Kathy Stewart said. “Evansville people love and support the daughters of the Nile Brain Booth and so it didn't surprise us that we would be busy. Yesterday we had people waiting in line for hours to get a brain sandwich.”

As for the customers, many still made their way to the festival sporting rain jackets and umbrellas in order to make it to their favorit
