Almost one year to the day she finished a final round of chemo to treat breast cancer, Carly Csoff was ready to celebrate a clean bill of health. Sunday’s CIBC Run for the Cure was the perfect place to do it. A sun-drenched morning greeted 150 runners at Simcoe’s Lion’s Park, including Carly’s Rack Pack, a group of Csoff’s family that contributed to the event’s overall total of $62,400 for breast cancer research, bringing Simcoe’s 26-year mark to over $3 million.
“It’s amazing – it’s so nice to see everybody come together and it makes you feel like you’re not alone,” said an emotional Csoff. “You’re not alone in this journey, so many people have gone through it, have been touched by it, and it’s so nice to bring everybody together.” It was last year, at just 34, Csoff’s life changed
