PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — In another video message, Paulding County Sheriff Ashley Henson took to social media once again to address what he described as "a situation of mass chaos" at a middle school dance that was held at South Paulding High School over the weekend.

Misinformation spread about there being a gun on campus and that someone was hurt. However, deputies found no evidence of that.

The dance was put on by a booster club. Students from Scoggins Middle, Austin Middle and South Paulding Middle attended.

Henson ran through the facts again, stating that approximately at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, parents present noticed a few kids acting suspiciously and evasively. They notified one of the deputies who was there.
