CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are urging residents to take precautions when conducting online marketplace transactions after two people were robbed at gunpoint during a sale at a Charlotte apartment complex.
The armed robbery occurred on Monday on Millerton Avenue, according to a police incident report. Two suspects demanded the victims' personal property, then escorted them from an elevator to a staircase before fleeing in a vehicle.
