OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A senior citizen couple learned an expensive lesson that cheaper isn’t always better. They have allegedly been misled when paying for a repair service.

Near 95th and Wirt Streets, a leaky shower head led Bobbi and Ledell Maxwell to find a repairman online then unexpectedly some funds poured out of their debit account.

“We’re senior citizens on a fixed income and that was our money and we trusted him,” said Bobbi.

Needing to fix the shower head leak, Bobbi called Big Red Rooter, which has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau , but she wondered if a plumber made the service call.
