Judd McVee is officially a Docker.
After a deal was agreed upon late on Tuesday night, Fremantle wasted no time in securing the defender in a trade with Melbourne early on Wednesday.
The Demons received a second-round pick in exchange for McVee, currently No.23, on-traded by the Dockers following a three-club deal involving West Coast and Brisbane earlier this morning.
As part of the mega-trade, Fremantle were forced to give up their first-round pick (no.12) but landed the Lions’ in return (no.19) while also recruiting the 22-year-old defender.
Fremantle list boss David Walls said they were pleased to land a player of McVee’s ilk as well as remain in the first round of this year’s draft.
