LOS ANGELES — Former USC and NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez is now involved in a lawsuit in addition to a possible felony battery charge and several misdemeanor charges due to a Saturday night altercation in Indianapolis .

USC head coach Lincoln Riley gave a comment to reporters after practice on Tuesday regarding the situation.

“All I’m going to say about that – prayers are with everybody involved,” USC head coach Lincoln Riley told reporters. “I don’t know much about the situation, but it sounds like a really tough situation, and I just hope everyone involved is OK.”

Sanchez played at USC from 2005 to 2008 and started in three games in 2007. He became the Trojans’ full-time starting quarterback in 2008 and helped USC go 12-1 with a Rose Bowl victory over Penn State under Coach Pete
