JEFFERSON — The Ashtabula County Covered Bridge Festival will not have a centralized location this year, but will feature the county’s 19 covered bridges, as people come from all over the country to experience the mystique of rural Ohio.
The festival, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, has been a focal point for county tourism for nearly 40 years, with activities taking place at the Ashtabula County Fairgrounds or Giddings Park in Jefferson. That will not occur this year, ACCBF Executive Director Ginger Whitehead said.
