Bengaluru: BJP leader and former Police Commissioner of Bengaluru Bhaskar Rao has drawn severe criticism for his appreciation of the lawyer’s recent attempt to throw his shoe at Chief Justice of India BR Gavai.

Even as the advocate Rakesh Kishore is being criticized and was also suspended by the Bar Council of India, Rao lauded the advocate, calling his move as brave. “His daring to act so and also live with it is definitely worth appreciation,” the former police officer has said.
