On Wednesday at 1:48 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a frost advisory valid for Thursday between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. for Southern Erie and Crawford County.
The weather service says to prepare for, "Temperatures as low as 33 degrees under a clear sky and calm wind will result in frost formation."
"Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered," explains the weather service. "Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold."
