The National Weather Service released a frost advisory at 2:15 a.m. on Wednesday valid for Thursday between 1 a.m. and 9 a.m. for Warren, Potter, Elk, Cameron, Clearfield, Cambria, Somerset and Tioga counties.

The weather service says to anticipate, "Temperatures as low as 32 degrees will result in frost formation Wednesday night."

"Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered," describes the weather service. "Those with agricultural interests should protect sensitive vegetation. Near-ground freezing temperatures could kill uncovered sensitive outdoor vegetation."
