Several people have been violently attacked by two assailants during a shocking assault at a Belfast railway station. ‌

The disturbing incident unfolded at Belfast City Hospital Train Station on Monday at approximately 3.40pm, prompting police to launch an urgent appeal for witnesses. ‌

Members of the public were assaulted before the perpetrators fled the scene along Donegall Road in the Northern Irish capital. ‌

The Police Service of Northern Ireland have launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident, reports the Mirror .

Officers are particularly keen to trace an unidentified individual who sustained injuries during the violent episode. ‌
