Dolly Parton's sister, Freida Parton is asking for prayers for her sister and country music icon faces health challenges.

In her Facebook post, Freida said she was "up all night praying" for Dolly, saying "many of you know she hasn't been feeling her best lately."

In late September, Parton posted on her Instagram account that she was told by doctors she has to undergo “a few procedures,” but shared new details.

Parton was set to perform six shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace from December 4 to 13 in her first Las Vegas residency in more than 30 years.

Those shows were delayed until September 2026.
