COTTONTOWN, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in connection with a series of crimes in the Cottontown area on Tuesday.

It began when the sheriff’s office sent deputies to Highway 25 for reports of a hit-and-run crash. A short time later, a nearby farm and residence called in a theft.

The report states that deputies discovered heavy equipment had been stolen from the farm, and were then alerted to a burglary at another home in the area.
