Elaine Denton aims to help people better understand Onondaga County government (Meet the candidate)

Elaine Denton woke up the morning after the 2016 presidential election with a pit in her stomach.

“I knew that the country that I thought I lived in was so different from what I thought,” Denton said. “I thought, ‘There’s something wrong here, and I need to get involved.’”
