Heavy rains continued for the third day in Hyderabad’s southern parts, including Charminar, Shahalibanda, and Falaknuma. Several low-lying areas were flooded, and civic teams began clearing operations. Chandulal Baradari recorded the highest rainfall at 57.3 mm till Wednesday morning

Hyderabad: The areas in the south of the city, primarily covering the older parts of the city, have been receiving heavy rains for the last three days.

The localities in Bandlaguda, Bahadurpura, Charminar, Shahalibanda, Yakutpura, Falaknuma , Kanchanbagh, and Rajendranagar witnessed bountiful rains during the three days. Following the heavy downpour, several low-lying areas were inundated, and promptly the official machinery swung into action.
