FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) — A 51-year-old man has died after a motorcycle crash on Route 24 North in Fall River Tuesday night.

Troopers were called to the scene near Exit 2 just after 10 p.m., according to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office.

The operator, identified as Scott Langlois of New Bedford, was found on the grass near a highway crash barrier, the DA's office said.

He was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.

It's unclear what led up to the crash at this time, but the DA's office said it does not appear to be suspicious.
