HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) - Ground is broken on a new $13 million housing project in Evansville.

The Franklin Street Lofts project is reusing the Hercules Plow Factory and turning it into 56 lofts along Franklin Street.

Officials say the area will also have connected access to the Pigeon Creek Green-Way Passage.

The project is the first Evansville Region Project supported by the Lilly Endowment Initiative.
