LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating after an SUV struck a bicyclist before fleeing the scene on Wednesday morning.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, on October 8, at 6:58 a.m., officers responded to 5057 Lincoln Highway for a crash involving a bicyclist. Upon arrival at the scene, it was determined that the driver had fled the scene.

Police said a white SUV and the bicyclist were traveling west on the roadway when the bicyclist was struck from behind. The driver then left the scene.

The bicyclist was transported to Lancaster General Hospital with a suspected broken arm and minor injuries.
