Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Wednesday conducted a review of the state’s law-and-order situation, observing that the situation in Cuttack city, which witnessed a usual clash during Durga Puja, is largely under control.
He has directed senior police officials to maintain strict vigilance over troublemakers and antisocial elements.
The Chief Minister warned that certain groups are attempting to tarnish the image of Odisha with malicious intentions and emphasised the need for firm action against such activities. Police authorities have been instructed to closely monitor such individuals and prevent any escalation.
