A large anti-Trump rally is coming up on in Boston, and Mayor Michelle Wu is set to “headline” the event, according to organizers.

The “No Kings” protest is set to begin at noon on Oct. 18. Demonstrators will gather on Boston Common, near Beacon and Charles streets, to voice their opposition to a range of actions being taken by the Trump administration. The event is scheduled to last until 3 p.m.

In a press release, organizers listed a few of their key concerns: that ICE’s “secret police” are “profiling, threatening, and disappearing people,” that the Trump administration is defying the courts, that voters are being disenfranchised through “gerrymandering and voter suppression,” that officials are “ignoring” mass shootings, and that President Trump’s “billionaire allies” are being en
