Sandalwood actor-director Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1, the prequel to the blockbuster fantasy drama Kantara, has surpassed a special milestone today. The film’s Hindi version has royally entered the Rs 100 crore club.

Kantara Chapter 1 has already crossed the lifetime collection of Kantara (Rs 84.78 crore) to emerge as the highest-grosser of the franchise. Worldwide, the acclaimed prequel has hit the Rs 400 crore landmark by amassing a whopping Rs 427.5 crore gross within 6 days of its theatrical release.
