A Georgia man who worked as an Uber driver allegedly shot a teenage girl after an argument at a Waffle House over his refusal to fit all of her friends in his car.
Meredith Grundy, 38, posted bond after he was arrested early Sunday morning by Dunwoody Police Department officers. According to police , Grundy was working as an Uber driver when he was called to a Waffle House in Dunwoody. When he arrived, there were five teenage girls expecting a ride, but he told them that he did not have enough room for all of them, nor were there enough seatbelts to transport them safely.
An argument ensued, police said, and it soon escalated when one of the teens allegedly "threatened to kill" Grundy and "struck him in the face." Grundy then allegedly retrieved a gun and shot the girl several times.
