CONNECTICUT (WTNH) — President Donald Trump (R) is calling for investigation into U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) after the senator exchanged words with Attorney General Pam Bondi (R) on Tuesday at a Senate Judiciary Committee meeting.

Blumenthal pressed Bondi about the Trump Administrations politically motivated prosecutions, including the U.S. Department of Justice's (DOJ) targeting of former FBI Director James Comey, and asked Bondi if she personally discussed Comey with Trump the night before the DOJ indicted him.

"Senator, I am not going to discuss any conversations I have, or have not had with the President of the United States," Bondi said.
