Drivers traveling Interstate-83 in York County should prepare for lane restrictions next week during a bridge inspection.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said an inspection is scheduled on the Interstate-83 bridge over Yellow Breeches Creek in Fairview Twp., near the Cumberland County line.

The bridge spans the creek between exit 40A (Limekiln Road) and exit 40B (New Cumberland).

Weather permitting, the inspection will be done from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14 northbound, and Wednesday, Oct. 15, southbound.

While work is being performed using a snooper crane, the right lane and right shoulder will be closed.
