As cold and flu season sets in, a survey of 2,000 adults reveals a clear generational divide in how people look after themselves when unwell. Gen Zers, typically aged 18 to 28, are more likely to take time off work to rest and recover, with 55% saying they’re comfortable doing so.
In contrast, only 30% of Baby Boomers (aged 61 to 79) would do the same, suggesting many still follow the classic ‘keep calm and carry on’ approach, pushing through illness rather than taking time to recuperate.
