Prime Minister Mark Carney was in Washington this week hoping to strike a deal to remove U.S. tariffs from Canadian goods, but he left empty-handed and came across like a starstruck fan in front of U.S. President Donald Trump.
Carney arrived all smiles, wearing a red tie, and heaped plenty of praise on Trump, calling him “a transformative president.”
But Carney’s flattery ended up coming across like he was “a teen at a Taylor Swift concert,” body language expert Judi James told the _Daily Mail_.
