Billy Crudup ’s Cory Ellison has once again been toeing a very fine line in Season 4 of Apple TV+ ’s The Morning Show , and Episode 4 watches him cross it at the expense of someone else’s job at the now-merged UBN network.

This decision had been brewing for Cory since Episode 2 of the drama’s latest installment when he discovered some damning information about Stella (Greta Lee). The time comes for him to act on his blackmailing of her once and for all. While he hesitated at first, he did hint to UBN Board President Celine Dumont (Marion Cotillard) that he would think about “selling out” his protégé, who is now CEO of the network, for “30 pieces of silver inflation-adjusted.”
